Terms of service

These terms cover orders placed with Sticker Possum ("we", "us"), a small print shop in Yorkville, Illinois. By placing an order you agree to them. Plain English on purpose.

1. Made to order

Everything we sell is printed and cut to your order. Prices, sizes and quantities are shown before you pay. We may decline or cancel an order we can't make properly; if we do, you get a full refund.

2. Proofs

Nothing prints until you approve a proof. The proof shows the artwork, finished size, cut line and finish. Approving the proof is your authorization to print exactly what it shows, including any spelling, cropping or resolution you were warned about. Before approval you can change the artwork or cancel for a full refund from your proof page. Orders with no artwork or no approval after our reminders may be cancelled and refunded.

Sample packs have no separate proof: the preview in the builder is the proof, and ticking "Looks good, print it exactly like this" is your authorization to print exactly what it shows.

3. Your artwork

You confirm you own the artwork you upload or have permission to reproduce it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We don't check trademarks or copyrights for you, and you're responsible for any claim that arises from your design. We won't print content that is unlawful, hateful, or sexualizes minors, and we may refuse anything we're not comfortable making. You keep all rights to your artwork; you grant us a license to use it only to make, proof and ship your order (and for internal records). We don't use customer artwork in marketing without asking.

4. What to expect from print

Screen colors are not print colors: expect small shifts, especially in neons, deep blues and skin tones. Sizes are accurate to about 1/16" and the cut line follows the proof within about 1/32". Vinyl stickers are waterproof and UV-laminated for outdoor use; longevity depends on the surface and conditions.

5. Shipping, reprints, refunds

See our shipping policy and reprint and refund policy; both are part of these terms. In short: tracked shipping, within 4 business days of proof approval, and we reprint anything we got wrong, damaged or lost. Sample packs are the exception: $1.99 standard mail has no tracking, and we reprint a sample pack only if it's obviously wrong or damaged.

6. Limits

Our responsibility for any order is limited to reprinting it or refunding what you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as missed events or lost profits.

7. The usual

Illinois law applies. We may update these terms; the version in effect when you order is the one that applies to that order. Questions: sales@stickerpossum.com.
